What’s this blog about?
Sorry, you won’t find facts about colorful lizards here* but if you are a person with varied interests and passionate about infusing your life with whatever makes you happy (including all of the “little” things) then stick around!
What exactly do you mean by “chameleon life?”
I use the term to symbolize how people are multifaceted by nature and should feel free to explore and celebrate different facets of themselves. Personally, this blog is a way for me to get back in touch with the creative side that was once a huge part of my life. My goal is to further develop skills in Art forms I am passionate about including photography, design, and writing.
What will the posts on this blog typically center around?
Photography – snapshots of culinary experiments from a once picky eater to a wannabe foodie, travel photos, and featured client sessions
Interior Styling – design inspiration, decorating projects and DIY ideas
People - inspiration from bad ass entrepreneurs, business leaders, and regular folks like you and me, leading chameleon lives that they love
*O.K. I will share one, cool fact:
Most people are aware of a chameleon’s ability to change color but (contrary to popular belief) the reason is not to match their environment. This is great news – because I’m not here to blend in! While their basic pattern may provide camouflage, the color changes are a response to mood, temperature, health and light. It’s all about communication or perhaps expression.
Who should read this blog?
I’m happy you stopped by and I would love for anyone else to check it out. That being said, I’d like to dedicate this blog to those who have regretted abandoning a project or unsuccessfully tried to ignore a voice in their head (not a creepy, ‘Am I going crazy?’ voice but an ‘I really need to do this or I’ll always wonder what if,’ type of voice). I hope even in some small way, to offer support and motivation to keep at it. Even if you’re not sure what “it” is. Tune in to your inner voice. Blast it like it’s your favorite song. You will figure it out eventually…and if you don’t, I have a feeling you will be happier when you try and even more so when you allow yourself to enjoy the moments and lessons along the way.
